Boo to Do

Time: This event takes place
during school hours.
Where: Location on school/church grounds exact location to determine
based on current construction project.
Needs: Each class needs to have 6-8 volunteers to
assist with set-up, working the event, and take down. Also, please remember that Pre-K through K
needs to have someone in attendance with each child. Please check with your teacher to see how they
will inform parents of this information.
Please provide volunteers
names to Jodi and/or Karyn ASAP. Once

Clean-up

Time: 8-11
Place: Meet at OLG/Community
Center parking lot, children need permission slips signed by parents to
participate. We are responsible for cleaning
from the RR tracks to near SSC. Please
contact Dena & Bob Somerholder @
228-493-0305 with any questions.
Needs: As many volunteers from each class as
possible for clean-up. This is a great
volunteer outing for the entire family.
SOIREE
IN THE BAY (formerly known as Chef’s Soiree)!

Time: Night time event
Place: Currently this event is scheduled to be at
the Bay St. Louis Yacht Club
Needs: This year the event is a HTCS event. As many volunteers are requested as possible
to work on various committees. Committee
options will be posted asap. Meetings will be held in the evening for all
to attend. Please contact Karyn Matheson

Place: BSL Library
This year’s theme is “12 days of Christmas” this is the
perfect time to remind our children about the true meaning of Christmas. Last year HTCS had the honor of having the
only 6ft tree to be displayed at the Library. The beautiful tree skirt is usually auctioned
each year at Soiree in the Bay (formerly known as Chef’s Soiree). The ornament planning committee is scheduled
to meet NEXT THURSDAY, October 8, 2009. A represent from each grade should be
present! The location for the meeting is
currently scheduled at the community center after drop off.
Needs: Room
moms will need to talk with teachers about what kind of assistance they will
need with ornaments and set up times to complete these with the student if
needed. ALL ORNAMENTS WILL BE DUE BEFORE THANKSGIVING BREAK (Friday November 20th,
2009)! Instructions will come soon

First: 8 maids a milking
Second: Partridge in a pear tree
Third: 4 calling birds – 10 lords a leaping
Fourth: geese a laying
Fifth: 9 ladies dancing, 11 pipers piping, and 12 drummers
Sixth: 7 swans a swimming
HTCS KEEP SAKE ORNAMNETS:
Beautiful keepsake ornaments are still available for sale from last year
$15 per ornament. This year’s ornament
will go on sale in November
only 100 will be sold. They are
numbered and will reflect this year’s theme.

Fair
Date: November 5, through November 11, 2009.
Time: During school hours except for Sunday
November 8, 2009.

Needs:
Volunteers will be needed to assist with setting up display cases and
all books, working the event to assist with classes, and on Sunday November 8,
2009. More information
to come, regarding specific volunteer needs.
